Batman Arkham Knight: 10 Storylines It Needs To Adapt

1. No Man's Land

This is quite possibly the ultimate Batman video game set-up: Gotham has been ravaged by plague and a 7.5 magnitude earthquake. The city is so terribly, terribly destroyed that the United States has actually declared it "No Man's Land"; no longer part of the United States and deemed it unfit to live in. Batman goes missing for 100 days as Bruce Wayne tries to use political clout to get the city rebuilt-and fails. He returns to find Jim Gordon has taken the law into his own hands with a rag tag group of police officers, in a devastated city where batteries have replaced the greenback as the currency of choice. Somewhere in the city is a new Batgirl, trained by an assassin and given the blessing of the mantle from the original Batgirl, Barbara Gordon: The Oracle. Though many people criticize the actual storyline in the comics, it is undeniable that the plot is a great set up for a game in Rocksteady's Arkham franchise, though it would presumably take some serious adaptation to fit into the Arkham Knight framework. With enemies popping out of the shadows and debris and a large list of possible playable characters and cameos, how could this game not be in the running?
