Batman: Arkham Knight - 8 Huge Flaws Nobody Wants To Admit

1. Whatever Happens, There€™ll Be More Arkham Games

Kind of puts a bit of a dampener on proceedings doesn't it? Whatever happens across Arkham Knight's runtime - be it anything from Bruce dying to the Arkham Knight being a clone or the Scarecrow actually being Jim Gordon's estranged Mexican son - there is no.way.in.hell Warner Bros. are going to leave the franchise alone. Origins was actually far better than people gave it credit for, but the fact remains that culturally - and to the vast majority of gamers - Arkham is Rocksteady's franchise, making for an immediate sense of cashing in when it comes to following instalments. Even the very idea of them doing more Arkham titles post-Knight renders something as medium-defining as Bruce's death impossible - something that although Rocksteady have full creative control over their game, you have to imagine WB have tapped on the back to prompt as a reminder. All that then leaves is more prequels, and as we're seeing with Better Call Saul, something set in a world of consequence where the endpoint is already clear doesn't make for the most enjoyable experience. What other slowly encroaching doubts do you have about the final chapter in Rocksteady's most ambitious work yet? Everyone needs a next-gen home-run, but it just doesn't feel as spot-on as it should - let us know in the comments!
