Batman Arkham Knight New Trailer: 8 Things We Learned

4. Gotham Looking Its Best

Rocksteady have already revealed that the playable area in Arkham Knight will be approximately five times larger than that featured in Arkham City (which in turn was five times larger than Arkham Asylum). This scale is supported by the trailer €“ as Batman leaps from a building (far higher up than those in previous games) we are given a flash of just how big the Bat€™s playground is in Arkham Knight. Not only is Gotham humongously large in the next-gen but it also looks mouth-wateringly good. Clearly, you don€™t have to be Oracle to work out that while this has been presented as a gameplay trailer it is really a mishmash of cutscene action with a smattering of authentic gameplay footage €“ however, even if only 5-seconds of the 2-minute-16-second trailer is legit gameplay that€™s enough to categorically say that Gotham (and the rest of the game) is far better looking than in Rocksteady€™s previous offerings.
