Batman: Arkham Knight - Ranking All Costumes From Worst To Best

16. The Dark Knight Returns

One of the more iconic looks to have been sported by the Caped Crusader, Frank Miller's popular costume from The Dark Knight Returns makes its return to the Arkham Series in Knight, and for what it's worth it does look good - bar a few niggling alterations.

This is the same problem seen with the Noël suit, in that instead of retaining the look's more 'comic-booky' elements, Rocksteady elected to place it over the normal Batman character model. Arkham City's suit was suitably bulky and came with the 'white eyes' most comic book heroes seem to gain when they put on their masks, but here it just looks like Rocksteady's Bruce is wearing the suit, which doesn't really fit in well with Knight's visuals. It's fun to use for a bit, but without the 'Miller chin' present it loses its cartoony vibe.
