Batman: Arkham Knight - Ranking All Costumes From Worst To Best

12. 1970s Suit

Though the suit may not give off the impression that it spawned from the character's resurgence as a dark character, the 1970s was where the modern day Batman was born and bred.

Deviating away from the decades the hero had been seen as a happy-go-lucky centrepiece to the campy comic books of the '50s and '60s, veteran Batman writer Dennis O'Neil and artist Neal Adams reconstructed the vigilante's persona to be more in tune with his origins, taking on dark plotlines involving the League of Assassins among other malicious organisations and rogues.

I've always been one for the yellow-crescent symbol despite the fact it makes Bruce stick out like a sore thumb, so for that reason alone it's worth using.
