Batman: Arkham Knight Reviews - 10 Early Critical Reactions You Need To See

6. And So Has The Predator Mode

"...being hunted by thugs who use denial tactics like firebombing ground vents, controlling hovering drones, deploying landmines, and detecting you if you use Detective Vision for too long made me change up my habits and targeting priorities." - Dan Stapleton, Ign.com "Slinking through vents, taking down a goon, and zipping away is as rewarding as it is to sabotage your armed foes with your disruptor rifle, causing their weapons to malfunction and leaving their owners open to attack." - Kevin VanOrd, GameSpot.com
Much like the combat system, the signature predator mode's also said to have received quite the facelift with a bevy of powerful new room-sweeping abilities, and awesome new gadgets. One such gadget is a tool which players can use to mimic enemies' voices to set up distractions and clear the way for takedowns, with an alternate function allowing players to trick enemies into opening gates. And that's not all either, as critics have also described a multi-takedown move which allows you to floor up to five enemies at a time. And, speaking of the bad guys - the inclusion of several new classes in the predator mode ensures that stealth never becomes too predictable as enemies now have several ways of defending against some of Batman's more overpowering abilities.
