Batman: Arkham Legacy - 10 Fatal Mistakes It Must Avoid
4. Post-Story Missions
You've done it. You've beaten the game and all the side missions and now have the freedom to roam around Gotham and... do what? As talked about earlier, the problem with having a city of just criminals is that there's no one to save.
Gotham City needs to feel alive when the game ends, and the best way to do that is by having random crimes continue to pop up all over the place. This feature has been utilized successfully in quite a few other games, but easily one of the best was the PS4's recent Spider-Man game.
It's true that Batman has more than enough super villains to keep him busy, but that doesn't mean that he ignores the random crimes that happen all throughout Gotham.
Arkham Legacy needs to give players the feeling that they are truly in the never-ending battle to save Gotham. Street muggings, bank heists, and even car chases are all a part of the Batman's nightly patrol, and having random crimes pop up not only during the game but after it's finished, gives players a reason to keep coming back to it long after the Joker is put back in Arkham.
