6. After The Credits

Suicide Squad Once you've been treated to the Joker's serenade, and become somewhat overly familiar with the entire development team behind Batman Arkham Origins, there's a bonus sting in the tale of the game. If you haven't been rocked to sleep by the Home Alone-alike music, you'll be treated to a scene starring Slade Wilson (Deathstroke) locked away in Blackgate Prison, who is approached by Amanda Waller, the head of the shady government organization known as the Suicide Squad. Given the choice between incarceration and working for the government on deadly missions, with the future promise of freedom, villains like Harley Quinn, Bulldozer, Deadshot, and Killer Frost signed up in the comics world for the Dirty Dozen style set-up. Deathstroke himself was never involved in the comics, but creative licence has obviously come into play to change the roster somewhat. So is a Suicide Squad game next for DC? Will they be going the Rockstar route of making the villains the heroes? This would seemingly line up with Geoff Johns assertion from February that a Suicide Squad game was in development, which will be something of a departure, though not an unwelcome one, for this series.
