7. Side-Missions

To be fair on Rocksteady here, this wasn't something WBGM managed to do justice in AO either. What is frustrating however is the decline in quality fans were given for Knight's side missions, as previous plot threads from Arkham City were sent to die in glorified quick time events and AR Challenges. An Origins sequel should really endeavour to do something new and inventive with its side missions, or simply do away with them altogether if they can't give them ample development. There's plenty to choose from in the way of stories, with a continuation of the Lady Shiva League of Assassins thread perhaps being best poised for due attention in the next game. Maybe even a proper murder mystery and conspiracy plot could be introduced with the Mob trying to reassert control over a city they don't recognise anymore? You certainly don't have to look far to find inspiration for characters and stories that could be introduced, but the key thing here is to make them a worthwhile investment.
