Batman: Arkham Origins - 5 Ways It Could Disappoint

1. It's Just To Fill Up The Gaps Between Games

We know for a fact that Rocksteady is working on a true sequel to Arkham City, and they're currently working on it right now. However they're going to take some time if they want to make a great sequel to the acclaimed Arkham City. The guys at Warner Brothers realized this and, fearing that the interest in the sequel may drop if the next entry in the series takes some time to be released decided to make Arkham Origins to fill the space until the next entry on the series is released. Now this is something that should have you worried. If a company is going to release a game, it should better be for the right reasons. It must have a story to tell to the audience, it should have a reason to be other than "we've got to have money." And while this one isn't necessarily the case, it still isn't the right reason to release the game. Granted it will make the wait for the next entry shorter, but that isn't a guarantee that this game will be good. Sure, what we've heard about the game sounds really cool, however we must take this thing in mind while playing it. Who knows, it may be a nice surprise and it could be another great entry in the franchise. But let's keep our expectations reasonable so that if the game is a disappointment, the blow won't be too hard.
