Batman: Arkham Origins - 6 Things We REALLY Want To See

1. The Main Villain That Isn't The Joker

The Joker Arkham Origins It's a little-known fact that The Joker is not Batman's only villain. I know, shocking, right? Batman has easily the greatest rogues gallery in comic books, and yet all we ever get is The Joker. I know that Asylum kind of had to do the Joker, and that City was Hamill's final performance as the character and thus had to give him some meat to chew, but I have to trust that the team making Origins, with all of these possibilities at their fingertips, can stretch their imaginations far enough to give us something other than The Joker. The Joker's bit is kind of old hat anyway. There's only so long that someone who is just crazy can remain interesting if all they ever do is just do things. If the Joker does play as big of a role in Origins as it looks like he is going to, then it had best be worth it. If you've got Black Mask in this position of orchestrating eight different hit squads, let him stay there as the kingpin. Black Mask is entrenched in Bat History. He once killed someone very close to Batman, and, in the comics, ends up getting capped by Catwoman. What better combination of elements could you ask for as far as a worthy replacement for the Joker goes? No matter what happens, I still know two things: 1) I'm going to keep campaigning for Two Face to play a larger role even when no one agrees with me, and 2) I am totally buying this game.
