Battlefield 1: 11 Things You Didn't Know You Could Do
1. Repair Vehicles And Planes From Within
A hangover from the campaign - although the lack of tutorials in multiplayer mean this just may not come to mind - you're free to jab on the D-pad to use your repair tool from within, fixing any damage that's been done to your vehicle.
Planes actually have an 'auto-fix' that kicks in if you can get out the line of fire for long enough, but hold the D-pad direction for a continuous fix. It will render your vehicle useless until completion, but the symbol should fill up regardless of whether you're airborne or on land.
Just make sure you're in a safe spot. If any enemies do enough damage - say through a grenade - it'll reset your progression and you'll have to start all over again.
