Battlefield 1: 15 Crucial Tips & Tricks The Game Doesn't Tell You

14. Bayonet Charging Is Faster Than Sprinting

Bayonet charging an unsuspecting victim is one of the most satisfying things you can do in Battlefield 1. However, the new ability is useful in more situations than the ones that end in a soldier's intestines all over your weapon.

In fact, you can use the ability whenever you want to quickly cover a lot of ground.

It's faster than sprinting, but I'd only advise it if you're certain there's nobody in sight that can catch you off guard, as while you're charging ahead you'll be open to enemy attack, and there's also a short cool-down period where you can't sprint for a few seconds afterwards.

As a result, bayonet charging is a great way to cover the game's often expansive battlefields, yet the added mobility has a high risk factor that you have to take into account every time you make use of it.
