Battlefield 1 Vs. Titanfall 2 Vs. COD: Infinite Warfare - Which One Is Best?
8. DLC
Battlefield 1: A free map is coming in December, but to get the 16 additional maps, new game modes, classes, vehicles and weapons, you'll need to purchase the Premium Pass, which costs basically as much as the core game itself. Hmmm.
Titanfall 2: To their immense credit, Respawn are going to release all DLC content for free with no season pass offered whatsoever. It's widely expected that at least another five or six maps may be on the horizon over the coming months, but whatever it is, you won't have to pay for it.
CoD: Infinite Warfare: There's a Season Pass for a year's worth of maps, which also includes extra Supply Drops and Salvage Credits for crafting new gear. Standard operating procedure here.
WINNER: Though it won't serve up as much content as its competitors, major props to Respawn/EA for not double-dipping audiences with a Season Pass for Titanfall 2.
As a stand against corporate greed (though probably one they're now regretting given the game's poor sales), it's a move worth celebrating.
