Battlefield 2018: 8 Leaked Details You're Not Supposed To Know
3. Customisation Is Far Larger Than In Battlefield 1
While Battlefield 1 was a huge game, it was a substantial step back in regards to the amount of weapon and soldier customisation that was included. The ability to tinker with your loadout was still there, but the inability to add individual attachments to guns (perhaps a limitation of the historical setting), or change the camouflage of your character made the sequel feel far more restricted than its predecessor.
Thankfully, the upcoming title will allegedly boast a much larger amount of guns, attachments, and customisable goodies than its World War 1 counterpart. The new setting frees the sequel up to introduce more toys to rage war with, and the already mentioned addition of experimental weaponry could theoretically result in more customisable possibilities than other WW2 releases.
EA's shooters have unfortunately shipped with less content than they used to (thankfully, Battlefield hasn't suffered quite as much as Battlefront), but the next sequel should return to the gloriously overwhelming days of the third and fourth game.
