It took angry gamers to get together and file a class-action lawsuit against Electronic Arts but finally the video game company are giving PlayStation 3 Battlefield 3 owners the free copy of Battlefield 1943 that they originally promised they would get all the way back at E3 2011 for buying the game. All users have been given a free code to download the PSN title. The European players will get it earlier on November 26th (Saturday), then the North Americans users on December 10th and then Asia players on December 17th. We heard previously that EA tried to make up for not fulfilling their promise by offering a one-week exclusivity to PS3 games on upcoming DLC pack offerings but angry customers were still adamant that they wanted the free copy they felt like they were owed. In the end, the customer is always right and they are getting what they wanted. EA's website detail how you can redeem your online pass code to get your free copy.
