Before GTA V: 10 Reasons We're Still Playing GTA IV

9. Addictive Missions

GTAIV-3

If you put a bunch of Grand Theft Auto IV fans in a room and say the words "Three Leaf Clover," you are bound to get sighs of nostalgia and smiles of excitement. Perhaps the most beloved and talked-about mission in the entire history of Grand Theft Auto, the famous bank heist mission gave players a sense of accomplishment and productivity - something rare in missions. Players are forced to gun down police officers almost reluctantly to make away with bag-loads of money. The mission drags the player through central Algonquin to escape - The Exchange and Chinatown, and the subway beneath Lower Easton and Easton - with LCPD, NOOSE and the FIB hot on their tails. On top of this, the player is forced into other missions at random times - such as the McReary funeral or to meet with Darko Brevic. They have to make decisions that can drastically change the story - kill Dwayne or Playboy; put Darko out of his misery, or spare him; deal with Dimitri, or get revenge. GTA IV is filled with more memorable missions than perhaps any other game in the series.
