The sandbox nature of the Grand Theft Auto series has always given players freedom to do whatever they please, ranging from exploration of the series vast worlds to accumulating a maximum wanted level and trying to evade the ever expanding legions of law enforcement for as long as possible. Cars, guns, motorbikes, helicopters, fighting, boats the world is your oyster, and like all open-world games, from Skyrim to Sleeping Dogs, the lack of linearity greatly enhances the gameplay experience.
