Before GTA V: 50 Reasons Why GTA San Andreas Is Greatest Game Of All Time

29. Amphibious Assault

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Un4RL1nq4J4 More and more mission diversity; pitching swimming and lung capacity as a crucial part of getting through the game this mission had a certain undercover commando quality with its style whilst also being very fun with its priority on stealth and the ability to swim.

28. Wrong Side Of The Tracks

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6y7o3RNgWR8 Smoke€™s missions were some of the most fun in your first tour of Los Santos and this is a great example of it; combining the skill of patience, fast driving and dodging on coming trains. This was a high risk, high fun, high skill mission which doesn€™t even scratch the surface of how mad some San Andreas missions get, and is still pretty mad itself.

27. Yay Ka Boom Boom

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKW3ZIEr64s Big in terms of story and a sense of emotional rightness as CJ effectively puts a stop to drug production in San Fierro (and stops Cesar giving you those annoying phone calls) but is also coupled with the awesome completion image of you driving out of the complex by flying over the wall in a car. Always impactful, and always cool.

26. Flying

You would most likely have to find a game dedicated entirely to flying, or become a pilot, to get as much exposure to flying planes as you get in San Andreas. Though plenty of games feature this ability; here so much of the game is dedicated to it that it is a level above competitors. This gives the game a larger range of activities and is responsible for some of the games most fun and challenging missions; it€™s a really big leap in the direction of complete freedom for a game that hasn€™t been matched since.

25. Home Coming

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMzU5GGE2Q4 A mission which offers a lot of insight in to the characters; showing Sweet€™s passion and love for his home whilst also showing CJ as a man with ambition to escape the hood, but where Smoke forgot the people he should care about, Sweet reminds CJ that that matters just as much; making the cinematics in this mission one of the most emotive and impactful.
