4. Liberty City Triads
The next gang to make it into our list is the Liberty City Triads. The Triads were originally seen by some as a small-minded street gang, however during the events of GTA III they became one of the major criminal organisations in Liberty City. As a result of their expansion into major crime, the Triads became a serious problem for the Leone family, and after attempting to work their way into the Leone families territory, an all-out gang war between the two erupts. The result of this war sees three of the Triad leaders assassinated and the gangs factory destroyed. Although it is unclear, the result of the gang war may mean that the gangs time in Liberty City is over.
