Grand Theft Auto: The Lost and The Damned (2009 €“ various platforms)

gta-iv-lost-and-damned_63 The first expansion for Grand Theft Auto IV features Johnny Klebitz, the leader of a biker gang known as The Lost Brotherhood. Although this was an expansion to GTA IV, any decisions made in the main game did not impact the games story. However there were areas and details from the main game that were revealed in this expansion. The Lost and The Damned featured a selection of brand new missions, vehicles and weapons. There were also a number of different multiplayer game modes that ranged from riding through check points to trying to knock other players off their motorbikes with bats. This expansion was a huge success when it was first released, with the most notable features being the improved motorbike controls and the multiplayer game mode.

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars (2009 €“ various platforms)

fob The graphics of Chinatown Wars slightly resembled the graphics of the original games, although Chinatown Wars had a rotatable camera angle. The story focused on Huang Lee who arrived in Liberty City to deliver the Yu Jian sword to his Uncle Kenny. However things did not go according to plan, after arriving, his bodyguard€™s were killed and Huang is himself was shot. As this game was released on numerous platforms, there were slight differences between each version. The Nintendo DS version utilised both the consoles bottom screen to access people on the map or uses certain weapons and also the DS microphone to call for taxis. The PSP version€™s graphics were slightly different and contained extra missions. And the IOS version featured touch screen capabilities and specially-designed mini games.
