Beyond: Two Souls - 10 Things We Learned From The Demo

1. Ellen Page & Willem Dafoe Took The Project Seriously

Beyond Two Souls Development Budget 34 Only A Little More Expensive 34 Than Heavy 10973151 Any time you see Hollywood actors branching out into other forms of media, it can raise a red flag where you become cautiously optimistic about the decision. You just can€™t outright say for certain if this is being done for publicity, a paycheck, or genuine interest, which isn€™t a knock against Ellen or Willem. We€™ve just seen far too many times development studios reaching out for Hollywood actors to promote their game despite not knowing the first thing about voice acting. In this case, though, Ellen and Willem were much more involved than say *insert random superhero actor here* to show up and record lines, half-asleep for some shameless movie tie-in video game cash in. These two did everything from voicing their characters to lending shockingly accurate motion capture, and judging from the demo, they took this opportunity seriously and will be delivering fantastic performances instead of taking their paychecks and spitting in the face of the medium. Have you played the demo for Beyond: Two Souls? Are you excited for the game? Comment below! Beyond: Two Souls is a PS3 exclusive and will be released on October 8th in NA and October 11th in the UK.
