3. Branching Narrative
With games like this, upon completion you always ask yourself the same question: Am I going to go back and explore every possible gameplay option or hidden cutscene, or will I never revisit this again? For me the answer is nearly always no. Ive carved my way through Two Souls with my version of Jodie and my set of decisions that affected my game world in the way I saw fit at the time, therefore Ill rigidly stick to what I believe was her story, regardless of what might be the "right way" to play. Thats entirely the point, as although the game does feature Trophy support, rewarding you for seeking out the remaining narrative branches will only provide the bigger picture anyone could see, as oppose to your own personal portrait. This idea though, of dropping a hefty chunk of cash just for an "experience," is another that has divided players, and its one that opens up an entirely different debate" What is a game worth? However, that is a debate for another article, and in the meantime the discussion in this case centers around whether or not you think getting involved in Jodies story is worth the financial attachment or not.
