7. Flying Cities
Im not sure if Im the only one who felt this distaste, but when BioShock Infinite had been first announced and I heard that the setting was taking place in the sky I nodded my head in disapproval. The outcome of this setting just sounded like the result of a very obvious design meeting. Whats the opposite of an underwater metropolis? A sky city, of course. It just seemed too easy, but several teasers and a more than satisfactory gameplay trailer later, I have been swayed. This is one impractical flying city and seems to defy many laws of physics, but its ridiculousness makes it impressive. 19th century tower blocks hanging from probably the most hazardous form of transport ever conceived, yea, Im up for traversing that in a videogame.
