Blazing Souls Accelate Heading to PSP and Vita 27th April
Rising Star's strategy RPG heading to Sony handhelds in a couple of weeks.
Rising Star Games have announced that strategic battler Blazing Souls Accelate will be available in stores for the PSP and also online via SEN (Sony Entertainment Network) from 27th April. The developer promises that the strategy RPG, from creator and developer Idea Factory, will look "spectacular with incredible anime visuals and the deep and engaging story will provide players with hours of tactical RPG gameplay". The game sets up battles in which players skills are put to the test with a diverse range of options to defeat the enemy, with the opportunity to launch individual or massive combo attacks resulting in the field of play to offer a broader battle experience. The game will also allow players to create their own world with over 200 different editable factors, and somewhat uniquely, the battle map and adventure map will be the same arena. Rising Star Games managing director Martin Defries offered his own thoughts on the upcoming game on the news of its release: "Were delighted to bring Idea Factorys exceptional creation to PSP and Sony Entertainment Network, making it accessible to anyone on the move. Also, were really impressed with the accessibility of the PlayStation Vita, which marks a further expansion to the number of players we can reach with unique and compelling experiences via Sony Entertainment Network."Blazing Souls Accelate will be set in a now peaceful land rebuilding after the Seven Year War, and follows our hero Zero, an independent contractor who unwittingly stumbles across a mysterious stone, which is infused with a powerful magic known as the Core Elemental. As Zero takes on additional new jobs to investigate other locations, he unearths further Core Elemental stones, as well as encountering the Human Genomes, new creatures created by God to replace mankind, which he must best in combat. Each battle takes him closer to his homeland, where he must ultimately face the revelation of his own existence. Blazing Souls Accelate will be released on PSP and PS Vita on 27th April.
