Bloodborne: 10 Legitimate Complaints Fans Can't Ignore
5. Arcane And Bloodtinge Items Should Be Available Sooner
In games like these, certain stats can go neglected. Obviously, it’s the player’s choice if they want to be 100% wizard and put all their experience into arcane, but the incentive to do so isn’t present right away. The common thing to do is to level up strength and skill so your weapons do a greater amount of physical damage, as levelling anything else up at the beginning of the game doesn’t make sense. Point being, you don’t start with anything that benefits from a high arcane or bloodtinge stat.
The good arcane and bloodtinge items come later on in the game, and some are hidden in places that players can be forgiven for missing completely in their playthrough. The more you level up stats, the more it costs in blood echoes. This makes levelling up the more neglected ones a lot harder later on, which in turn creates a problem, because certain items require stats to be at a certain level before they can be used.
You basically miss out on using some of the cooler-looking spells and gun-based weaponry for doing what the game encourages you to do in the first 10 or so hours. There needs to add more incentive to level up arcane and bloodtinge near the beginning of the game.
