8. The Trophy Case

Game: Ghosts During the mission "Struck Down," in Call of Duty: Ghosts, it's possible to find a mysterious smashed trophy case. Inside the case are a number of fun little easter eggs, packed with references to other gaming franchises and pop culture. One trophy is in the shape of a police box, inscribed with the title "Award for largest interior and smallest exterior," in a clear reference to Doctor Who. Another trophy is in the shape of a gem, saying "Award for most bushes cut and pots smashed," referencing Link in The Legend of Zelda. Finally, there's an award named "Given For: World Not Ending," given to the year 2012, referencing the Mayan 'December 21st, 2012' prophecy.
