Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare - 10 Killer Features It Must Have
8. A New Co-Op Mode
Nazi Zombies was originally bundled as a mini game with Call of Duty: World At War; a short but sweet arcade style mode to keep people hooked. It takes a lot to pull people away from the addictive multiplayer but Nazi Zombies managed it with an equally addictive co-op mode, allowing you and three other friends to take on the zombie hordes. The mode received three new maps over World At War's lifespan and was successfully reintroduced in the two Black Ops games. Infinity Ward has also made attempts to recreate some of that success with similar modes but none have captured the fanbase like Nazi Zombies. That may be because the most recent modes have been overcomplicated (even Nazi Zombies suffered from this). Keeping it simple and making a mode around a simple hook like scoring points or surviving for as long as possible would help create a game mode which people would come back to time and time again. Likelihood: A certainty. While nothing was shown in the reveal, Sledgehammer has openly discussed co-op modes in the past. Call of Duty campaigns have always been solo experiences (and that's unlikely to change) so all signs point to a new co-op game mode.
I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
