Nevertheless, when all is said and done, everyone knows that you don€™t buy COD for its story or even its graphics. You buy COD for its exceptional multiplayer. Personally, I really resent that statement.

If that was the case and players only bought COD for its multiplayer, than why are we paying forty quid for it? But then again, if people are paying that amount, why would Activision bring that price down?

Sooner or later, that can't last.

Call of Duty€™s multiplayer ripped a hole in what we as gamers thought it was about. According to Activision, the number of people that have played Call of Duty is round the one hundred million mark - more people have played Call of Duty then there are actual living people in the UK, Italy, France and even Germany. Adding to that impressive fact, the number of hours spent on COD outweighs the entirety of human existence. A colossal 2.85 million years has been spent killing our pixelated brethren, and these facts are round six months old.

However, if you look behind the striking smoke and mirrors, you can see little old Oscar Zoroaster Phadrig Isaac Norman Henkel Emmannuel Ambroise Diggs, frantically pulling at levers praying no one finds the real him. And, in that stretched out simile, there lies another point...
