9. Drop Weapons & Attachments To Create A Trap

Something of a wider Battle Royale tactic, you should always be wary of gun and item piles... because you can make them yourself.

While the majority of your gear will be found inside locations as the game automatically places it in the centre of rooms, hop into your inventory and hover over any weapon or attachment, to get the "Drop" option.

While you don't want to discard anything useful, as the round thunders on, one of the most effective tactics is dropping a couple of firearms and attachments in one place to entice another player in. Pick somewhere that looks as though the game could've spawned the items in said place, then find a hiding spot and you just might score an ambush kill.
