3. That Ridiculously Abrupt Ending

As great as Reyes' death played out, the game's excuse for an ending is almost hilariously poor, abruptly rolling to the credits around a minute after Reyes dies.

There's almost nothing in terms of closure or a debriefing to bring the player back to reality: we just see a shot of a suited-up Salter with her back to the player saluting the memorial wall with Reyes' name on, and after zooming into his name, we cut to black.

Sure, the CoD campaigns are never exactly the pinnacle of water-tight storytelling, but come on, didn't fans deserve a little more than something so piecemeal and lazy? It's like they ran out of time (because certainly not money) to give it a proper conclusion.
