This was already known long before the game came out of course, but it's still extremely surreal taking part in full-on space fights in a Call of Duty game.

There are numerous sequences throughout the game where the player has to take off from land, fly out of orbit and then attack a fleet of enemy warships while dogfighting smaller air units.

Though you can argue these battles end up a little repetitive by the end of the game, they at least still break up the on-foot gameplay a little, and the visual spectacle of exploding a giant spaceship is absolutely undeniable.
