Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare Review - 6 Ups & 6 Downs

4. Side Missions Are Surprisingly Good

A real pleasant surprise is the unexpected substance of the campaign's array of side missions. Aside from the introductory one, they're entirely optional for completing the campaign, but add a good few hours to its length without feeling too much like padding or filler.

The side content is pretty similar to the core missions, usually requiring the player to clear their way through a facility or take part in a dogfight, and for the most part they're solidly entertaining at around 15-20 minutes a-piece.

Sure, they're not all super-memorable, but if you're keen to get a few more hours out of the otherwise 5-hour campaign, this does the trick just fine.
