Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare - 10 New Details You Need To Know

4. Captain Price (And Other Characters) Will Return

What made positioning the new Modern Warfare in the context of the previous games a little difficult was the prominent inclusion of Captain Price in the trailer. Though the character has been reimagined before (after all, he originally was the star of the WW2-themed COD 2), it left many wondering whether or not this was the same soldier who appeared in the original three MW games, or simply another incarnation.

Comments from the developers have indicated that this is indeed a new version of Price, who doesn't share the history of the version who killed Makarov in the last game. While that's a good thing, as it allows the character to come back in all of his glory for a new take on this universe, it also indicates that other beloved characters could return as well.

Infinity Ward haven't named any names yet, but they have suggested that Price won't be the only familiar face to return in the reboot. While Soap is a great shout, and potentially the most likely candidate to be reimagined, it would be a crime to not also pay COD 4's Gaz his dues and bring him along for the ride as well.

Please, Activision?
