It wouldn't be a Call of Duty game without a deep well of customisation options, and Modern Warfare isn't planning on disappointing fans looking forward to tinkering with their loadout until their hearts are content.

Even before the new gameplay footage dropped, fans knew that Infinity Ward were introducing a 'gunsmith' feature, which would allow fans to extensively customise their weapons and add in different attachments and decals. Now they've opened up as to just how this is going to work, explaining that certain guns will have over 40 different attachments to swap in and out depending on what the situation calls for.

In the trailer we saw laser sights, a bunch of different scopes, grenade launchers and more - nothing radically different to what COD has implemented before, but it's still exciting to have all this choice in one game.
