Call Of Duty: WW2 - 10 Tips & Tricks The Game Doesn't Tell You

2. You Can Spot Enemies Through Smoke

Smoke grenades have become more vital than ever in WW2's multiplayer. Popular in regular game modes like Domination and even more prominent in War, players constantly spam smoke to obscure themselves while taking objectives.

Without any high-powered scopes that allow you to spot enemies through the fog, these tactical grenades are more powerful than they were in previous releases, and it can be intimidating trying to find other players that are hiding in plain sight.

However, just because you don't have access to any thermal scopes to spot enemies doesn't mean that you're completely blind, as you can actually identify enemies in the smoke by looking for their gamertag. Best seen through the lens of a sniper rifle, if you check the smoke carefully you can actually spot another player's name above their head, which gives you an indication of where to shoot.

It might be a bug, but at the moment it's one of the only ways to identify enemies hiding in the smoke.
