2. New Powers And Masks
The trailer for Crash 4 has confirmed that new powers will be introduced for each character, as well as different moves depending on who you are playing as. Even Crash himself has learned some new tricks such as now being able to slide on ropes and planks at high speeds.
However, the big addition to Crash 4 is four new masks which will hugely vary the gameplay. Details of how these are obtained and used hasn't been confirmed, but they are a hugely exciting prospect.
Two of the masks have been announced, time and gravity. The first will allow you to slow down time to get past objects which were previously impassable such as sections of green boxes. While the gravity mask will see Crash running on the top of the level upside down! Both will be huge for replayability and are likely to be needed to collect all the boxes.
Of the new additions to the series these look the most interesting and should bring a new dynamic to playing Crash.
