Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy - 12 Crucial Tips & Tricks The Game Doesn't Tell You

1. Finish Crash 3 Before Attempting Any Of The Time Trials

In case you never got all the way through Crash 3 as a kid - or you're a newcomer - know that Warped's bosses each give you a unique power or upgrade, ranging from a super-spin that lets you stay in the air longer to a freakin' bazooka that fires Wumpa fruit.

One of the most essential for any time trial is Neo Cortex's 'Crash Dash' - literally a sprint that can be done infinitely while holding R2.

If you're struggling to hit any Relic goals or just want an easier time overall, wait until you have both the super-spin and Crash Dash. The former can be used to leap right through many of the game's U-shaped rooms or open-air expanses, and the latter - when held continuously - means you take on the level at a noticeably steadier clip.

All-round it's a newer, faster way to play, and really gets you into the mindset of a speedrunner.
