Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled : 11 Tracks & Characters We Want To See
2. Character: Spyro The Dragon
Crash and Spyro have always been very tight knit due to the close relationship between Naughty Dog and Insomniac, a Game Boy Advance crossover (though we don’t really like to talk about that), and Spyro being a guest characters in the GBA version of Crash Nitro Kart.
With Activision owning both franchises and the recent release of the Reignited Trilogy, its seems perfect to have him as a guest character. His inclusion may have even been teased already, as the Spyro Twitter account tweeted “Made it to Glacier Park” in potential reference to the third world of Crash Team Racing's Adventure mode, alongside an image of a Spyro drone flying over a snowy mountain range with what looks like a tiny racing kart in the distance.
Spyro would be a welcome addition to the roster by fans of both Crash and Spyro, and who knows, if he does end up joining Crash and friends, could there be the possibility of at least one Spyro-themed track as well? One thing at a time for now...
