4. Character: Dr. Nitrus Brio
Considering how important his role in the first two Crash games were (as Cortex’s main assistant in Crash 1 and helping Crash recover the gems to defeat Cortex in Crash 2), it’s surprising that N. Brio wasn’t included in the original roster - especially when smaller charters such as Papu Papu and Pinstripe made it.
The original only ever eluded to him by stating that the potion power-up players were able to leave behind was his. Seriously not doing his character justice, his inclusion seems more deserved than any other on this list.
He’s certainly a favourite amongst several fans for his jittery, insane mad scientist personality and his great design and animations, as well as the brilliant voice over courtesy of Maurice LaMarche, all making him a a perfect addition to the Nitro-Fueled roster.
