Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
18. Pinstripe Potoroo
The gangster potoroo seems to have a decent shtick, with a unique personality and clear gimmick. However, the longer you spend with him the clearer it becomes why his only main series appearance is in the very first game.
Plenty of the characters perhaps don’t have a personality as easily identifiable as Pinstripe, but most of them have a bit more depth at least.
He’s painfully one note, his voice grating, and his entertainment value quickly diminishes. As a boss, he at least puts up a decent challenge, and as a fast talker, shoot first ask questions later kind of guy, the acceleration category definitely suits him.
If you lose to him a couple of times, you’ll soon be sick of him, in a way you aren’t with some of the other characters. It’s Hot Air Skyway; you will lose to him.
Yes, it’s annoying to get beat, but most losses just make you want to go faster.
Losing to Pinstripe makes you want to stick a sock in his mouth to shut him up.
By the time you’ve unlocked him, you’ll never, ever want to see him again. Might be a good choice to wind your mates up with while playing split screen though.
