4. Experience Hacking And Braindancing
It does not get any more cyberpunk than this.
As players would expect, they will be able to hack terminals and computers to gain information. But depending on what upgrades they have, players will also be able to hack other peoples cyberware and cause them to overheat or malfunction. However, they are going to want to be cautious of enemy hackers who can do the same thing to them.
Hacking certainly looks like it is going to be a lot of fun in Cyberpunk 2077, but in episode one of Night City Wire, CD Projekt Red revealed a whole new piece of cyberpunk technology. Braindancing is where the player can access recordings from other people's past experiences and see them for themselves. They can also enter an editor mode, where they can scan objects of interest and see the recording from a different perspective.
In terms of gameplay, braindancing is the Cyberpunk 2077 equivalent of Geralt’s Witcher senses. Players will be able to use braindancing to investigate certain scenarios in a way that others could not in order to uncover new information about what happened and who was involved.
