4. Combat: Hacking

The next part of combat, you can spec towards hacking and essentially "Watch Dogs" your way through any encounter.

Kinda like the distanced hacks of 2013's Syndicate, you'll use a resource called "Memory" to execute various "Quickhacks". These come from a pop-up menu housed on L1/LB, where after aiming, you tap R1/RB to activate everything from distractions to even hacking enemies directly. Frying some circuits in a goon's head before watching him burst into flames is an example of the latter.

There are more in-depth hacking options available that involve lining up numbers and codes to get through, but if you've unlocked them, Quickhacks are essentially this universe's version of magic.
