Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire: 6 Things You Might Have Missed

In a surprise announcement, CD Projekt Red has shared that Cyberpunk 2077 will have an anime adaptation.

The anime, titled Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is a stand-alone experience and is a great way to introduce audience members to the world of Cyberpunk. The idea is similar to Square Enix releasing not only an anime series but also an entire movie companion to Final Fantasy XV.

Edgerunners will be arriving exclusively on Netflix but no release date has been mentioned thus far. Studio Trigger will be the ones to helm the series which should be exciting news for avid anime viewers.

For those not familiar, previous work by the legendary studio includes the beloved and action-packed Kill La Kill.

If Studio Trigger's previous work is any indication then Cyberpunk: Edgrunners is in very capable hands.
