6. Ceaseless Discharge

As his creatively-inhibited name suggests, Ceaseless Discharge was a constant bringer of pain and suffering. A huge demon with no finesse, he has smashed and burned countless numbers of hapless players with about as much mercy as an enraged T-Rex. Of course, there are a couple of gimmicks (read: instant-win techniques) that you can utilise to completely trivialise this fight, but there was a time when many of us were ignorant of such gimmicks, and thus were subject to the brutal machinations of this fiery beast. He basically just slogged at you with his giant lava-covered tentacle things which were pretty much unblockable and unavoidable. This fight may be the only the case in Dark Souls where a death can be considered cheap, as if you don't know the cheeky methods to easily beat him, there is very little you can do against this guy other than grind up some Fire defence or chug an unhealthy amount of Estus.
