The Souls series and Bloodborne are absolutely stunning games to drink in. In particular, Souls has fostered a community that delights in leaving messages on the ground, dictating there's a 'stunning view ahead', or having your breath genuinely taken away as you come out of a dungeon and get knocked out by a gorgeous vista unfolding ahead.

In aid of getting the biggest visual clout possible, hop into the options and change the HUD to 'auto'. This will auto-hide it unless you're in very close proximity to an enemy, using an item or otherwise engaged in combat, freeing you up to fill the screen with all the meticulously-designed art direction.

Bonus tip: Find and equip the binoculars after removing the HUD to get into a first person mode. Use up and down on the D-pad to zoom, and you'll be able to capture the scenery in all its gothic splendour - perfect for screenshots and wallpapers.
