Since Demon's Souls From Software have been trying to make PvP orientated fights work. It only took them until Dark Souls 3 to get it right. Being summoned in as a boss is far easier than in previous games and it works seamlessly. Not only that, but the boss can be respawned meaning you can fight the boss multiple times. While there are arguments about the fact that you have a normal health pool as the boss, there can be no dispute about the fact that its better than the alternatives. Not to mention the offline version of the boss has a unique move set and is very entertaining on its own.
