Days Gone: 10 Reasons It's One Of The PS4's Best Exclusives

Days Gone is ABSOLUTELY worth your time.

Now that the dust is finally settling on Days Gone, the surprisingly controversial PS4 exclusive is being recognised as a solid entry into Sony's library. It looked a little touch and go for a while, with a bunch of mixed reviews and early first impressions suggesting that it might be the console maker's first major dud in a while, but Sony Bend's latest offering is winning more hearts the more players spend time with it.

The game admittedly makes a pretty terrible first impression, with it taking a decent time investment on the player's behalf to properly uncover its biggest strengths and, ultimately, an identity that sets it apart from similar games not only in the post-apocalyptic open-world sub-genre, but other releases in Sony's stable.

There is a diamond in the rough to find though, and if you stick with it, Days Gone quickly becomes one of the best PlayStation 4 exclusives out there.

It might not topple the likes of God of War or Uncharted 4 as being the pinnacle of what the system has to offer, but it certainly deserves to be in the conversation.
