13. Memory Chips

Death Stranding's most prominent collectible is the memory chips scattered around the open world, of which there are 56 to find.

These chips are all neat little Easter eggs in of themselves, either containing scale models of Ludens figures or serving as time capsule reminders of pop-culture wiped out by the Death Stranding.

Some of these include the soundtrack for last year's God of War reboot, and posters for classic movies such as Christine, Big Fish, Fright Night, Seven Samurai, The Bridge on the River Kwai, and Dr. Strangelove, and many, many more.

Hoovering them all up sure takes a damn long time, but as far as busy-work collectibles go, they're pretty fun rewards.
