Now, the visions that haunted her of apocalyptic futures were burdened with other people, including Sam, and while those people couldn't control BTs like she could, they could sense and feel them.
With the extinction now underway, and Bridget's time running out, The Last Stranding idea is crafted as a means to stop the cycle, and take out humanity in a single instance, rather than slow suffering.
